I grew up in a multicultural town surrounded by people of different origins and traditions an environment that enriched my life from the very beginning and shaped my open and curious view of the world.w
From an early age, my heart was drawn to Sardinia.
The simple way of life, the breathtaking landscapes, the turquoise beaches, the rich culture and history, and the warm hospitality of the Sardinian people made this island feel like home long before I ever lived here.
In 2006, I decided to follow that calling and move to Sardinia and that’s where my new adventure began.

I am Sandra from Travel Designer Sardinia Sandra and I specialise in tailor made travel to Sardinia. For group tours I collaborate with the accredited partner Alguer Viaggi. For individual travellers and small groups I work with the accredited partner Tururi Tours. Thanks to this partnership I can offer high quality and transparent travel proposals fully aligned with your wishes.
Yes we operate fully online. Our system is designed so that every traveller can receive all information clearly and transparently whether at home at work or on a mobile phone. You will have access to carefully prepared travel proposals that are easy to view. We continuously refine our service to offer even faster responses clearer communication and inspiring customised itineraries.
Travel Designer Sardinia is managed by me Sandra Sanna from Sardinia. From here I coordinate all trips together with my partners ensuring that every experience is locally supported and professionally organised.

What is included in the packages
These packages always include carefully selected accommodations bed and breakfast or a more extensive board basis transportation route suggestions and local support. You travel at your own pace with complete freedom and flexibility.
We specialise in creating fully personalised fly and drive trips in which the route stages accommodations rental car and any activities are tailored to your wishes and our local expertise. After your approval we reserve all services through our accredited partners.
This is not a trip with a fixed programme or a guide accompanying you at all times but an independent way of travelling where you decide how each day unfolds. We believe that Sardinia is best discovered by travelling at your own pace staying in special places we have personally selected and enjoying authentic experiences away from the crowds.
You will also receive detailed personal tips on places of interest activities beaches viewpoints restaurants and local addresses that make your trip even more special.
Group tour
A group tour follows a pre set day by day programme guided by an experienced tour guide. The packages include a comfortable coach all meals according to the programme entrance fees for all visits and activities and full local assistance throughout the tour. This offers a worry free and fully organised way to discover Sardinia as part of a group.
All taxes and administration fees are included ensuring transparent pricing without surprises.
Yes we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover situations such as cancellations medical expenses or repatriation. This is always in your own interest and is not included in our basic packages.
An annual travel and cancellation insurance policy through your own insurer is often more cost effective than a short term policy. An annual combined insurance can be financially advantageous although it may come with certain limitations such as a maximum insured amount per trip. If you choose an annual policy we advise arranging this directly through your own insurance provider.
Please also keep in mind that paying with a credit card sometimes automatically includes cancellation insurance. In some cases this coverage applies even when the payment is made from the bank account linked to the credit card. Always verify this with your own bank or insurer.
For our own packages we work with Mondial Assistance.
A cancellation insurance policy typically costs
six point five percent of the total trip price
plus insurance tax (twenty one percent of the premium)
and administration fees of four euros and fifty cents.
If you wish to insure flights that you have booked separately this is also possible. In that case we need the total cost of the flights to determine the full insured amount. The exact premium will be provided afterwards.
Cancellations must always be submitted in writing via email. In addition to booking fees and any flight costs the following charges apply
• More than two months before departure fifteen percent of the total trip price
• Between two and one month before departure fifty percent of the total trip price
• Between one month and two weeks before departure ninety percent of the total trip price
• Within two weeks before departure one hundred percent of the total trip price
Some trips or specific components may be subject to different cancellation terms which will always be clearly communicated in advance.
Once you provide your wishes we prepare a personalised travel proposal. After your approval everything is reserved and confirmed according to the proposal.
When all accommodations are available you receive the confirmation along with the invoice and the bank details of the relevant tour operator. The deposit is thirty percent of the total amount. The remaining seventy percent is due forty five days before departure. If we are already within this period the full amount will be invoiced immediately.
If any accommodation is unexpectedly unavailable we notify you before any deposit is paid. A comparable alternative in the same region will be suggested. Only once you agree do we proceed with the reservation.
After full payment you will receive all digital travel documents vouchers and practical information through a convenient link. You can save your full itinerary offline and access all essential information at any time during your trip.
